We’re excited about a special solar program that Arizona Public Service is launching in Flagstaff. The Community Power Project is a unique pilot program that will put more solar on rooftops in your community. Not every home is eligible to be part of this program, but 200 households will be able to participate. There are special conditions you must meet to be part of APS’s program. Even if you’re not part of the Community Power Project, we can help you get started with solar, whether it’s solar water heating or solar PV for your rooftop. Our Solar Coach will guide you through the installation process from start to finish. We don’t sell anything, so you can feel confident that you’ll get unbiased expert information. Our Solar Coach can help you with everything – from understanding how solar works, to what to look for in a solar installer, to estimating your savings from a solar installation.

the arizona solar challenge
We want every community in Arizona to commit to solar power, and that’s why we’re introducing the Arizona Solar Challenge. We’ll give your town a FREE 1 kw solar system for EVERY 100 residents who install solar electric or hot water, up to a total of 500 residential installations. It’s a great way for your town to earn free solar power!
